Professional actors and fellow believers Bryce Lenon, J.D. Jackson, and Vinicius Machado star in a full-length, three-man show based on the New Testament book of Acts. Two more accomplished actors, Reggie Austin, a graduate of Yale, and Gabriel Rivera, veteran of Christian Theatre with the Academy of Arts, have joined the cast as alternates. The show completed its U.S. theatrical debut in Los Angeles in 2011 and was a resounding success. After extensive tours in 2012 and 2013, we are now on the road again in 2014 and scheduled to perform in VA, IA, MO, IL, MT, MN, and OK this spring and at other venues across the country in the summer and fall.
Acts the 3-Man Show, written and directed by Bryce Lenon, is a bold, unflinching, action-packed and moving drama that highlights the truth of the Word of God and upholds high artistic integrity. It is an acting tour-de-force by performers with MFA’s in Theatre and numerous TV credits among them including 24, ER, Lie to Me, House MD, Flashforward, Cold Case, Law & Order, NCIS, Homeland, and Bones. There is also a profound original score by award winning composer Gustav Hoyer that includes the peerless world-winds instrumentalist Pedro Eustache, who is the featured artist on The Passion of the Christ soundtrack, and the sonorous excellence of Sun Valley’s (CA) Grace Community Church Choir.
Come along with us and experience the excitement and emotion as we bring to life the monumental events of the early church such as the stoning of Stephen, Peter’s bold sermon at Pentecost, the conversion of Saul, the Riot in Jerusalem when Paul is nearly killed for preaching Christ, the epic storm and shipwreck from Acts 27, Paul’s trials before Nero, and many other scenes.
The show has gained a stellar reputation for biblical accuracy and artistic excellence and has been invited to perform for large conferences and small churches alike.
